Another piece of interactive ‘theatre’ at the Barbican, we were taken
through the back-stage maze of the Pit, to a room laid out as a locker room with
a coach, Ken. Headphones gave participants instructions of what to do next
while Ken engaged in team building in preparation for an imaginary water polo
match. It was a strange event, showing that one can quite rapidly bond with
others and with the controlling coach. But then it ends.
