14 May 2013. Public Enemy at the Young Vic.

A very modern / radical translation of Ibsen’s timeless play of a naïve doctor who declares as unfit the water of his spa town. This public spiritedness goes down like a led balloon with the politicos and business people and towards the end there is a thought-provoking act as the doctor addresses the audience (town) on a limitation of democracy – the rule over the clever by the stupid.
