26 August 2017. +/- Human at The Roundhouse

This was a hot ticket event, featuring the choreography of Wayne McGregor, a dance troupe including Edward Watson, an installation of seven large white orb-drones and a soundtrack by Warp Records. The drones arrived in the arena and then resonated with the dancers and with the music. It was an extraordinary event and one that will I'm sure stand the test of memorability. However, its brevity - at 40 minutes - seemed about right. By that time, the novelty had worn off and the dancers seemed quite exhausted on a hot august night.
